The ACP is a young community Arts organization founded in January of 2010, it is located in downtown Asheville and adjacent to Lee Walker Heights. The ACP grew organically from a local dance group's drive to accomplish more in the Asheville community. By unifying performing artists and social justice groups under one roof, the ACP offers a space for inclusive community building and programming. Since the ACP's founding a few months ago, the group has hosted multiple performing arts classes, hosted monthly community events, offered a platform for several local social justice organizations and held fundraisers for social justice causes.
